“I appreciate the fact that she is on the ground, safe and sound. And I don’t think she knows just how worried some of us were,” Romney told the paper. “When you have a fire in an aircraft, there’s no place to go, exactly.”
Romney said the biggest problem in a distressed aircraft is that “the windows don’t open. I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem. So it’s very dangerous.”
The main reason airplane windows don’t open is because there isn’t enough oxygen at cruising altitude to keep passengers alive. (The fear of window or cabin failures, which would lead to potentially fatal hypoxia, is why many planes are equipped with emergency oxygen masks.)

There’s nothing wrong with being rich
That isn’t the issue with Mitt Romney and the rest of the top 1% earners of America. But there’s definitely a problem with being greedy. That being said, it’s a shame how when certain individuals experience financial gains, the temptation of avarice overcomes them and they start to forget what made them successful in the first place. Don’t talk to me about being a self made millionaire when it was the people around you that fostered that to happen. Don’t call yourself patriotic when you aren’t willing to give back to the country that galvanized your profits. Mitt Romney depicts and illuminates corporate greed at its darkest hour. No one is blaming him for being rich and successful, however no one is applauding him for being selfish either.
